Using Versatile Raised Flower Beds
Using a raised bed kit you can easily create flowerbeds all over your property. Because these kits came in multiple sizes, shapes and materials, you have a number of ways they can be used. While it is very common to use raised beds for planting vegetables and herbs they get overlooked for flowers. For the same reason they are wonderful for eatables they are great fro flowers; root space and that’s why I think they are fantastic!
You have more room for the roots to grow downward instead of out so you can plant a lot more flowers in the same space. Having the ability to plant for a long season of blooms allows you to plan your raised flower beds to have blooming flowers from early spring all the way too late fall, creating a beautiful array of colors and textures all around you lawn and gardens throughout the season. Using raised beds let’s you place your flowers anywhere you want and they are easier to get to since they are higher up and traditionally had fewer weeds. They are a winner every which way you look at it!
